We are missing out on some prime sailing.  Our trusty Atomic 4 went silent a week ago at the pump out.  We spent a morning checking the various systems and think it is likely the fuel pump. 

Last winter we sent my husband on an all day Atomic 4 workshop at a local company - EMC Marine.  While pricey, the workshop was hands on and included a very detailed set of hand outs.  It was money well spent.  Between the EMC Marine materials and the engine guide from Moyer Inc- the Atomic Bomb gods www.moyermarine.com- we can trouble shoot most routine items.

Hubby has ordered a rebuilt fuel pump from Moyer.  We have to wait, since the UPS charges for 2 day delivery were hiway robbery and so the parts are being sent regular post.  With any luck it should arrive this week and be installed on the weekend.  I hope so, because we are due to leave for 2 weeks of cruising on July 29.
