We are off to the Sailboat show in Annapolis this weekend.  We went last year with friends from our club and it was a blast.  Like a frat road trip with money.  It's a 14 hour drive from Toronto to Annapolis so we usually break it up with a stop over in Pennsylvannia.  This puts at at the boat show by about noon on Friday.

If you have never been, this is a beautiful show.  Acres of boats, large and smaller, keelboat and multi-hull.  There was one multi-hull last year that looked more like a posh loft in Manhattan rather than a sailboat.  I guess if you never leave your mooring ...

We were especially impressed with the Outbound 44s.  This boat was laid out for cruisers.  Tons of storage, tankage and even a small workbench.

Of course there are gadgets, tools, canvas and what nots.

My best purchase was the Sailrite sewing machine.  This year I am looking into replacing the V berth cushions and so will be on the hunt for ideas and maybe supplies for that project.
