Once the deckwork was finished, we had to reinstall all the hardware.  This was a multistep process that included locating the piece, cleaning the piece, drilling the holes, dryfitting, taping, and then reinstalling with the 3M deck calking.  Finally the tape is removed and any 'leaked' sealant is cut away, carefully.  It took us 8 weekends to complete the work.
